2Baba Unfollows Wife, Natasha, as Nightclub Drama Deepens Marital Crisis

 Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has unfollowed his wife, Natasha Osawaru, on Instagram amid fresh reports of tension between the couple.

The development followed a reported confrontation involving the couple outside a nightclub in Abuja on Friday night. 2Baba had reportedly been scheduled to perform at the opening of 90s Lounge, linked to fellow musician Faze, when the situation allegedly escalated and police intervened. 

According to reports attributed to sources close to the singer’s management, Natasha arrived at the venue with security personnel and approached 2Baba’s vehicle. The circumstances surrounding the confrontation have not been independently established in full, and neither 2Baba nor Natasha has publicly provided a detailed account of what happened.

The incident has nevertheless fuelled fresh speculation about the state of their marriage. Sources cited by local media claim that the couple have been living separately for more than two months, with 2Baba allegedly having previously blocked Natasha from contacting him. These claims remain unverified. 

2Baba’s decision to unfollow Natasha has attracted considerable attention online, particularly because it comes against the backdrop of previous public controversies surrounding their relationship.

In a separate development that has further stirred speculation, 2Baba’s estranged former wife, actress Annie Idibia, reportedly followed him again on Instagram, with the singer also following Annie back. The development has prompted renewed discussion online, although it does not by itself establish a reconciliation between the former couple. Earlier in July, Annie had dismissed rumours of a reunion with 2Baba, saying viral videos circulating at the time were old. 

2Baba and Annie announced the end of their marriage in January 2025. The singer later married Natasha Osawaru.

As of the latest reports, neither 2Baba nor Natasha has publicly confirmed that they are separating or explained the circumstances surrounding the latest nightclub incident. The unfollowing has therefore intensified speculation about their relationship, but it should not be taken as definitive confirmation of a marital breakup.
