Real Madrid have officially completed the signing of Dutch international Denzel Dumfries from Inter Milan on a four-year contract, the club announced on Sunday.
Although the Spanish club did not disclose the transfer fee, multiple reports say Real Madrid activated Dumfries’ €20 million release clause to secure the deal.
The 30-year-old right-back leaves Inter after five successful seasons, during which he made 207 appearances, scored 27 goals, and provided 28 assists. He helped the Italian club win two Serie A titles, three Coppa Italia trophies, and several other domestic honours.
Dumfries becomes Real Madrid’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window as the club continues to strengthen its squad following a disappointing 2025–26 campaign. He is expected to add experience, physicality, and attacking quality to Madrid’s right flank
