Manchester City have completed the signing of highly rated teenage winger Jeremy Monga from Leicester City on a five-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2031.

The 17-year-old England youth international joins City in a deal reported to be worth around £10 million plus add-ons. The move saw Manchester City beat competition from rivals including Arsenal, who had also shown strong interest in the youngster.

Monga became one of English football’s most talked-about young talents after making his Premier League debut for Leicester at just 15 years and 271 days, becoming one of the youngest players ever to feature in the competition.

The winger made 30 appearances for Leicester during the 2025/26 season, contributing a goal and assists, and also became the youngest goalscorer in the Championship.

Manchester City said they were delighted to secure the signing of the exciting young attacker, continuing their strategy of investing in emerging talents
