Reacting to his passing, Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri described the late professor as an outstanding scholar and visionary public servant whose contributions to education, science and national development would continue to inspire future generations. He noted that Isoun’s commitment to institution-building and technological advancement left an enduring legacy for both Bayelsa State and Nigeria.
