Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy has responded to critics questioning his decision to reportedly spend ₦9 billion on a customised Bugatti Chiron, dismissing concerns about where he would drive the luxury car. 


During his performance at the Afro Nation Festival in Portugal, Burna Boy addressed the backlash with a freestyle, saying:


“I buy Bugatti, them ask which road I go drive am. No be today we dey do road like Julius Berger.” 


The remark was widely interpreted as a jab at those criticising his extravagant purchase and referencing Nigeria’s road infrastructure. The singer’s response quickly went viral on social media, drawing mixed reactions from fans and critics alike.
