AC Milan have completed the signing of Portugal international Gonçalo Ramos from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on a five-year contract running until June 30, 2031, the Serie A club confirmed on Tuesday.

According to reports, Milan paid a club-record transfer fee of €74 million, which could rise to €90 million with performance-related bonuses. The deal makes Ramos the most expensive signing in the club’s history, surpassing the fee paid for Rafael Leão in 2019.

The 25-year-old striker leaves PSG after three seasons, during which he scored 45 goals in 131 appearances and won three Ligue 1 titles, two UEFA Champions League trophies, and several domestic honours. Before joining PSG in 2023, Ramos made over 100 appearances for Benfica, helping the Portuguese club win the 2022/23 Primeira Liga title.

Ramos is currently with the Portugal national team at the 2026 FIFA World Cup and is expected to link up with new Milan head coach Rúben Amorim after the tournament. His arrival is seen as the first major signing in Milan’s rebuilding project following a disappointing season that saw the club miss out on UEFA Champions League qualification.
