Reports circulating on social media on Monday have claimed that
popular Nigerian crossover music sensation, Destiny Boy, is dead.
According to the unverified claims, the young artiste allegedly
passed away earlier today under unclear circumstances. Some online posts
further alleged that he died at the residence of a Babalawo (traditional
priest), though details surrounding why he was there remain unknown as of the
time of filing this report.
However, there has been no official confirmation from Destiny Boy’s
management, family members, close associates, or relevant authorities regarding
the reports. Efforts to reach his representatives for clarification have so far
proved unsuccessful.
The reports have since triggered widespread reactions across social
media platforms, with fans and colleagues expressing shock and concern, while
