Popular Nigerian businesswoman Bebe Jewelry, who operated from the Trade Fair Market in Lagos, reportedly shared an emotional video shortly before her death, in which she spoke about being exhausted by the pressures of work and life.

In the video, which has since circulated widely on social media, Bebe Jewelry appeared to express deep exhaustion. She said she was “so tired” and spoke about the difficulty of dealing with financial responsibilities and the demands of running a business.

The video has attracted renewed attention following reports of her death in China, with social-media users describing it as her final known video before the tragedy.

Bebe was known for her jewellery business and had built a significant following among Nigerian traders and customers. Her presence in the Trade Fair Market made her a familiar figure within Lagos’ commercial community.

Her words in the video have particularly resonated with viewers because of how openly she spoke about exhaustion. In a transcript circulating online, she complained about the pressure of “money matter” and indicated that she wished she could have another version of herself to share the workload.

The footage has consequently taken on a painful significance for her followers, many of whom are now revisiting her final public moments and expressing shock that someone who appeared to be actively running her business could die so suddenly.

However, it is important to distinguish between what Bebe said in the video and speculation about the cause of her death. Her expression of tiredness, by itself, does not establish that she was experiencing a particular medical condition or that the video predicted her death.
