Celebrity chef Hilda Baci has issued a legal warning to Nigerian singer Seyi Vibez, demanding that he delete social-media posts she considers defamatory and publicly retract the claims made against her.

The dispute emerged amid the growing controversy between Seyi Vibez and music executive Dapper, who is Hilda Baci’s partner. Seyi Vibez recently made several allegations against Dapper concerning his handling of artistes and their earnings, bringing Hilda into the dispute through comments about her.

In posts shared on X on August 14, Seyi Vibez alleged that he became seriously ill after eating food prepared by Hilda Baci. He also made a separate claim concerning her alleged use of money from artistes’ catalogues for a cosmetic procedure. These claims have not been independently established.

Hilda has now responded through her lawyers, who issued a formal demand to the singer. Her legal team described the posts as defamatory and demanded that Seyi Vibez take them down and issue a public apology.

According to reports, the lawyers gave him three days to comply with the demands. They also requested that he retract the statements across the platforms where they were published and call on his followers to stop any harassment directed at Hilda.

The legal warning reportedly referenced Nigeria’s Cybercrimes Act, alongside the defamation claims, indicating that Hilda’s team is prepared to pursue the matter further if the demands are not met.

The development comes as the wider dispute involving Seyi Vibez, Dapper and several artistes continues to escalate online. Seyi Vibez has accused Dapper of financial wrongdoing and claimed that his own money contributed to the executive’s ability to sign other artistes. Those allegations also remain unproven.

Seyi Vibez has reportedly deleted the controversial posts following the legal demand, although it remains unclear whether the removal alone satisfies all of Hilda Baci’s demands.
