Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has revealed that she welcomed a baby girl more than two years ago but deliberately kept the child away from public attention until now.
In an emotional birthday post, the actress explained that she and her partner chose privacy so they could enjoy their daughter’s birth and early years without the pressure, scrutiny, and speculation that often come with public life.

She said the decision was about protecting their peace and focusing on family rather than keeping secrets. The actress described her daughter as an answered prayer and said she wanted to enjoy that blessing privately before sharing it with the public.
Adunni also addressed rumors and assumptions that had circulated about her personal life, stressing that not every private story involves scandal. She wrote that her relationship and motherhood journey were “fully, peacefully, intentionally” guided by God and not linked to any controversy.
The actress revealed that she and her partner had been on a journey together for nearly a decade before welcoming their daughter, whom she affectionately called Baby Sal.
The announcement surprised many fans because Adunni was publicly known as the mother of two sons, D’Marion and Ayden. Her revelation has since attracted widespread congratulatory messages from colleagues and supporters across social media.
