The promotion took place on June 1, with passengers selected through an onboard lucky dip. Three winners Hamid Ibrahim, Chidi Chinedu, and Gbenga Bello received Samsung Galaxy phones during the flight experience.
Passengers were also given hands-on access to Samsung’s newly launched Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 devices during the flights.
According to United Nigeria Airlines’ Chief Commercial Officer, Dayo Olawuyi, the initiative was designed to reward loyal customers and enhance the travel experience. He said the airline’s partnership with Samsung reflects a shared commitment to delivering memorable experiences for Nigerians.
The campaign had been announced beforehand, with the airline stating that passengers on the selected June 1 flights would have opportunities to win Samsung phones, free tickets, and other gifts.
The promotion is part of a broader trend of collaborations between airlines and consumer brands aimed at improving passenger engagement and customer loyalty.
