Nigeria’s Super Eagles have retained their 26th position globally in the latest FIFA Men’s World Rankings released on June 11, 2026. The team also remains the third-highest ranked side in Africa, behind Morocco and Senegal.
At the top of the rankings, Argentina continue to lead the world, with Spain in second place and France third. England and Portugal complete the top five.
Nigeria’s ranking comes after a mixed but generally positive international window under coach Éric Chelle. The Super Eagles won the Unity Cup in London and recorded strong performances in recent friendlies, which helped them maintain their position.
