The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has graduated 111 personnel from Special Forces Course 13/2026, in a move aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s internal security operations and improving military response to terrorism and banditry across the country.
The graduation ceremony was held at the Regiment Training Centre Annex in Bauchi, where the newly trained operatives completed months of intensive physical, tactical, and combat training designed to prepare them for high-risk missions.
Speaking at the event, Air Force authorities said the programme is part of ongoing efforts to build a more combat-ready and specialised force capable of supporting air and ground operations in complex security environments. The trainees were drilled in areas such as counter-terrorism operations, battlefield survival, tactical assault, and joint-force coordination.
The Chief of the Air Staff, represented at the ceremony, urged the graduates to maintain discipline, professionalism, and courage in service, stressing that the effectiveness of the Air Force depends on the quality and commitment of its personnel.
