Retired Ogun State Television (OGTV) broadcaster Kitan Oyesiku, popularly known as “Aunty Kitan,” and her security guard have been found dead at her residence in Iyana Agodo Village, Ogun State. The discovery has triggered a major police investigation.

According to the Ogun State Police Command, officers were alerted after a resident reported suspicious activity around the property. Detectives who arrived at the scene found signs of forced entry and disturbance within the compound. The security guard’s body was discovered in the security post, while Oyesiku’s body was later found inside her apartment.

Police also revealed that Oyesiku’s vehicle was missing from the residence, raising suspicions that the attackers may have fled with it after the incident.

The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, CP Bode Ojajuni, has ordered a full-scale investigation, with intelligence and surveillance operations expanded to track down those responsible. Authorities say efforts are ongoing to establish the motive and identify the perpetrators.

The deaths have shocked the Ogun media community, where Oyesiku was a respected broadcaster before her retirement. The police have appealed to members of the public to provide any information that could assist the investigation.
