President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has left Abuja for France as part of a three-nation official visit that will also take him to Kenya and Rwanda.
According to the presidency, the trip commenced with a stop in France, after which he will proceed to Nairobi, Kenya, to attend the Africa–France Summit scheduled for May 11–12.
The summit co-chaired by Emmanuel Macron and William Ruto will focus on key issues such as:
- Energy transition
- Climate action
- Digital transformation
- Economic partnerships
After his engagements in Kenya, Tinubu is expected to travel to Kigali, Rwanda, where he will participate in the Africa CEO Forum, a major gathering of business leaders and policymakers.
The presidency says the trip is aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s global partnerships, attracting investment, and promoting economic reforms.
