Self-styled relationship expert and social media personality, Blessing CEO (Blessing Okoro), has been arraigned in court over an alleged ₦36 million fraud case and subsequently remanded in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

She was brought before the court following investigations by the anti-graft agency over allegations linked to financial misconduct. The EFCC alleges that the funds in question were obtained under questionable circumstances, leading to her arrest and formal prosecution.

During the court proceedings, the defendant faced charges relating to fraud and obtaining money under false pretence. The court, after hearing submissions, ordered that she be remanded in EFCC custody pending further hearings.

The case has attracted widespread attention on social media, where Blessing CEO has built a large following through her relationship advice content and public commentary on lifestyle and dating issues.

The EFCC has continued its clampdown on financial crimes across the country, with several high-profile individuals recently facing prosecution over alleged fraud-related offences.
