Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique has identified PSG and Bayern Munich as the two best teams in Europe ahead of their UEFA Champions League semi-final clash.
Speaking before the first leg, Enrique praised both sides for their balance in attack and defence, arguing that the two teams have shown the highest level of consistency and quality heading into the last four. He also gave credit to Arsenal but suggested PSG and Bayern stand out overall.
The Spanish coach was particularly bullish about his own side, declaring that “no team is better than us,” while also noting that Bayern may have been slightly more consistent over the course of the season.
Enrique said the semi-final would be decided not only by attacking strength but by which side defends better under pressure, describing the tie as a contest between two elite teams with little separating them.
