Offset, the American hip‑hop star and former member of the trio Migos, was reportedly shot on Monday night in Hollywood, Florida, near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino after an incident in the valet area, his representative and police sources say.

According to local authorities and U.S. media reports, the Seminole County Police Department responded to a shooting around 7 p.m., and two people were detained as part of the ongoing investigation into the incident. Police said the situation was quickly contained and that the area is now considered secure, with no threat to the public.

Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital after sustaining a non‑life‑threatening gunshot injury and is currently receiving medical care. His spokesperson told media outlets that he is “stable and being closely monitored.”

The rapper, known for hits like “Bad and Boujee,” “Walk It Talk It,” and “MotorSport,” had previously been part of Migos alongside Quavo and the late Takeoff. Takeoff was fatally shot in Houston in 2022 a tragedy that deeply affected fans and the music community.

This story is developing, but early reports suggest Offset is expected to recover as authorities continue their investigation.
