A Nigerian TikTok content creator popularly known as the “Bread TikToker” has been invited by the Nigeria Police Force over allegations of cyberstalking, fraud, and public mischief.

The creator, identified simply as “Love,” came into the spotlight after posting a viral video claiming that a loaf of bread stayed fresh for about two months, raising concerns online about food safety and preservatives.

The video quickly gained traction across social media, sparking debate among Nigerians and drawing the attention of the bakery brand allegedly referenced in the clip. The company reportedly reacted, stating that the claims damaged its reputation and did not reflect the quality or shelf life of its products.

Following the controversy, the TikToker disclosed—via a message shared online—that she had received an invitation to the police headquarters for questioning over the allegations linked to her post.

The situation was further amplified by influencer Lucky Udu, who revealed that the creator reached out to him after receiving the police invite, as public interest in the case continued to grow.

As of now, the Nigeria Police Force has not issued an official statement confirming the invitation, but the case has already triggered conversations about freedom of expression, corporate reputation, and the legal risks of viral content.
