Nollywood actress Damilola Oni has opened up about the disturbing level of harassment she faces online, revealing that many male fans regularly send her explicit content.
In an interview, the actress said her social media inbox is often flooded with unsolicited nude photos and inappropriate messages from men.
She disclosed that some messages go even further, with certain individuals making explicit claims about how they interact with her content, which she described as deeply uncomfortable and unsettling.
According to her, the situation has become a recurring and exhausting experience, especially because she is frequently sexualised due to her appearance.
Beyond the harassment, Oni also reflected on challenges within the entertainment industry, noting that visibility and controversy sometimes overshadow talent, making it harder for genuinely skilled actors to stand out.
Despite these issues, she maintained that she remains focused on her career and determined to succeed, refusing to let either online abuse or industry setbacks push her out.
