The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that it will release the first batch of results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) at midnight today.
According to the Board, candidates who sat for the exam on Thursday, April 16, 2026, will be the first to receive their results as the marking and processing of scripts are concluded.
JAMB spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, said the results will be made available before midnight, adding that an official announcement will follow once the release is completed.
The Board explained that the early release is part of its effort to ensure transparency and faster processing of examination results, especially for the large number of candidates participating in this year’s UTME.
