Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has blamed Toyin Abraham for violating a prior peace agreement following the viral snub incident involving Funke Akindele.
The drama started after a viral video from Iyabo Ojo’s movie premiere in Lagos, where Funke Akindele appeared to ignore Toyin Abraham’s greeting, sparking widespread reactions online.
Reacting to the controversy, Iyabo Ojo revealed that she had previously stepped in to reconcile both actresses and helped broker peace between them. According to her, the agreement came with a condition that neither party would throw shades publicly or fuel issues online.
However, she said that agreement was broken. Ojo specifically accused Toyin Abraham of violating the peace condition, which she believes contributed to the renewed tension that led to the awkward moment at the premiere.
She also expressed frustration over the situation, stating that she had done everything possible including pleading with both sides to maintain peace, but has now decided to step back from mediating between them.
The incident has reignited talks about a possible rivalry between the two top Nollywood stars, with fans divided over who is at fault.
