Former Chairman of the Nigeria Football Association (NFA), Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima, has died at the age of 75.
Reports say he passed away on Saturday evening at a hospital in Kano State after a brief illness.
Galadima, a respected sports administrator and former president of the NFA, was widely known for his role in Nigerian football development during his tenure. He also held several administrative positions in sports and governance over the years.
Sources indicate that funeral arrangements have been scheduled in line with Islamic rites, with burial expected to take place in Kano.
His death has been described as a major loss to Nigeria’s sports community, where he was regarded as one of the influential figures who helped shape football administration in the country.
