A former governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Deji Aboderin, has officially declared his intention to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives in the 2027 general elections.
Aboderin, who previously served as a Special Adviser on Public Affairs to former Oyo State Governor Abiola Ajimobi, made his declaration as political activities ahead of 2027 begin to intensify.
According to reports, his ambition is focused on representing his federal constituency, with plans to bring governance closer to the grassroots and address local developmental challenges.
His entry into the race is seen as part of a broader wave of early political positioning within the APC and across other parties, as aspirants begin consultations and mobilisation ahead of the next election cycle.
