Chelsea interim head coach Calum McFarlane has warned players and staff over repeated leaks of team news, insisting the issue has been addressed internally and must stop immediately ahead of the club’s FA Cup semi-final against Leeds United.

The warning follows fresh concerns after information about the absence of João Pedro and Cole Palmer reportedly surfaced on social media before Chelsea’s recent defeat to Brighton, adding to a series of dressing-room leaks that have unsettled the club.

McFarlane said players have been spoken to about professionalism and confidentiality, stressing that internal matters should not continue finding their way into the public space. He described the leaks as damaging and said the issue “needs to stop.”

Reports say similar breaches had also happened earlier in Chelsea’s season, including during their UEFA Champions League campaign, raising wider concerns over discipline and trust within the squad.

The interim manager, who took charge after Liam Rosenior’s departure, said the focus is now on restoring unity and improving performances, while insisting everyone at the club understands the seriousness of the situation.
