Chioma Adeleke, wife of Afrobeats star Davido, is reportedly preparing legal action against members of a social media group linked to Sophia Momodu supporters over alleged cyberbullying and coordinated online harassment.
The controversy erupted after screenshots from WhatsApp groups identified as “TSM Lovers” and “Sophia Lovers” surfaced online, allegedly containing disturbing comments targeted at Chioma, her marriage, and members of the Adeleke family. Some of the messages reportedly included defamatory claims and deeply insensitive remarks about the death of her child.
The matter gained wider attention after music executive Ubi Franklin, who works closely with Davido and Chioma, condemned the messages publicly and warned that those involved could face legal consequences. He described the chats as evidence of organised cyberbullying and said those responsible would be made to answer to law enforcement.
According to reports, the planned legal action is expected to focus on cyber harassment, defamation, and related offences under Nigeria’s cybercrime laws, with those behind the alleged coordinated attacks potentially facing investigation.
