Nigerian singer Crayon has stirred major controversy on social media after publicly calling out his record label boss Don Jazzy and the management of Mavin Records in a series of explosive posts.

The outburst, which surfaced on X (formerly Twitter), saw the singer real name Charles Chibueze Chukwulaunch into a rant where he made several shocking statements directed at the label’s leadership. In one of the posts, he casually referred to Don Jazzy as “my boy,” before escalating into more serious accusations against key figures within the label.

Crayon also took aim at the label’s Chief Operating Officer, Tega Oghenejobo, whom he described in harsh terms, further fueling speculation of internal conflict within the label.

In a particularly alarming claim, the singer suggested that the label was responsible for personal losses he has suffered, although he did not provide details or evidence to support the statement. He also declared that “Mavin is going down,” a comment that quickly went viral and sparked widespread reactions across social media.

The situation escalated further when Crayon hinted at a possible exit from the label by promoting a new venture known as Olodum Entertainment, including sharing booking details linked to the new imprint.

Fans and industry observers have since been divided, with some expressing concern for the singer’s emotional state, while others speculated about a deeper dispute between the artist and the label. Some of the controversial posts were later deleted, raising questions about whether his account had been compromised or whether the outburst was intentional.

As of now, neither Don Jazzy nor Mavin Records has issued an official response to the allegations. The incident has, however, ignited conversations about artist-label relationships, transparency in the music industry, and the pressures faced by entertainers behind the scenes.

Crayon, who joined Blowtime Entertainmentan imprint under Mavin Records in 2019, has been one of the label’s rising stars, making the public fallout even more surprising to fans.

Whether this marks a temporary outburst or the beginning of a major split remains unclear, but one thing is certainthe drama has placed both the artist and the label firmly in the spotlight.
