Nigerian social media personality and relationship commentator, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has broken down in tears in an emotional video, apologising to Nigerians over her past comments and actions.

In the video shared on her Instagram page on Tuesday, November 3, the influencer described herself as confused, broken and emotionally exhausted, appealing to people she had hurt to forgive her.

Blessing CEO admitted that she had spoken carelessly about the pain of others without having personally experienced what they were going through.

“I am so sorry for speaking about the pains I have never felt carelessly. I am realising that talk is cheap, but action is loud. I am only human, with blood flowing through my veins, so I am bound to make mistakes,” she said.

She further expressed regret over her previous remarks, saying she now understood the impact of her words and could relate to some of the pain she had once mocked.

“I am so broken to the point that I am losing myself. Pray for me because I am exhausted from praying by myself,” she added.

The social media personality also appealed to those who had withdrawn their support because of her actions, as well as those who continued to stand by her, asking for an opportunity to make amends.

She likened her return to her family to the biblical story of the prodigal son, saying she was not ashamed to retrace her steps and start afresh after learning difficult lessons.

A significant part of the video focused on her late nine-year-old son, Bryan, whom she affectionately called “Doom Doom”.

Bryan died on June 8, 2026, while Blessing CEO was in custody at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos. Reports said the boy had a history of chronic asthma.

Addressing her son in the video, she expressed how deeply she missed him and promised to correct her mistakes in a bid to make him proud.

She also spoke about the effect of his death on the family, particularly his grandmother, revealing that she and her mother sometimes hid from each other to cry.

Blessing CEO further apologised for not being present when her son died, expressing regret over the circumstances surrounding his final moments.

Her emotional appeal comes amid renewed public scrutiny of her past statements, including comments concerning the late Bimbo Ogbonna, the wife of her partner, celebrity businessman Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD.

The influencer had previously faced criticism over remarks perceived by many as dismissive of Bimbo’s suffering during her troubled marriage.

Her latest video has renewed conversations about public accountability, empathy and the consequences of making insensitive remarks about other people’s personal struggles.
