Popular Nigerian gospel singer Tope Alabi has expressed shock and sadness over the death of fellow gospel artiste Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings.

In her tribute, the gospel singer drew comfort from her Christian faith, expressing confidence that Toluwanisings was now resting in the presence of God.

“This is such a big shock! I still can’t wrap my head around this. It hurts, but I will not sorrow as those who have no hope,” she wrote.

Alabi added that she found comfort in believing that the late singer had joined the angels, praying for God to strengthen his family, friends and colleagues during the difficult period.
