The United Kingdom’s Crown Prosecution Service has confirmed that Nigerian dancer and entertainer Poco Lee is still facing an active sexual offence case and is scheduled to appear in court on September 15, 2026.
The clarification comes amid reports and social media claims suggesting that the entertainer, whose real name is Iweh Pascal Odinaka, had been released from custody.
However, the CPS confirmed that the case remains active and that Poco Lee is expected to appear before the court on September 15.
Poco Lee was previously remanded in a UK prison following allegations of sexual assault. He appeared before a London court in connection with the case and was ordered to remain in custody pending further proceedings.
The allegations against the entertainer have not been proven in court, and he remains entitled to the presumption of innocence.
The September 15 hearing is expected to provide the next significant development in the case, including any decision regarding the progression of the proceedings.
The latest confirmation from UK prosecutors is therefore expected to put to rest, at least for now, speculation surrounding Poco Lee’s reported release.
Further details about the case are expected to emerge when he appears before the court on September 15.
