Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck reportedly confronted police officers at a Lagos nightclub in the early hours of Saturday after the officers allegedly attempted to take him into custody.
The incident occurred at BOHO Club in Lagos following the rapper’s performance. A video of the confrontation circulated on social media, showing Odumodublvck questioning the officers and insisting that they could not arrest him at the venue.
In the video, the rapper could be heard challenging the officers and repeatedly asking why they wanted to take him away. He reportedly told them, “It’s illegal to arrest me here,” while resisting the attempt to remove him from the premises.
Odumodublvck also questioned the authority of the officers to arrest him at the location and demanded to know the reason for the proposed arrest.
The confrontation attracted attention online as clips from the incident spread across social media, with users expressing different opinions about the rapper’s exchange with the police.
According to reports, the officers approached Odumodublvck after his performance at the Lagos club. The exact reason for their attempt to take him into custody has not been clearly established in the reports available so far.
Neither the Nigeria Police Force nor the Lagos State Police Command had, at the time of reporting, publicly provided details explaining why the officers approached the rapper or whether he was eventually arrested.
The incident has therefore generated questions about what happened before the video began and whether any formal complaint or police action was connected to the confrontation.
