Nollywood actress-turned-evangelist Tonto Dikeh recently held a deliverance prayer session for a schoolgirl during an evangelism outreach, an incident she shared in a video posted on social media.
According to Dikeh, the moment happened shortly after she and members of her team finished preaching at a school. As they were leaving the premises, she said she felt what she described as a “spirit of death” around the environment, prompting the group to begin praying.
She explained that within minutes, a young girl approached them requesting prayer, telling them she had repeatedly been seeing bats and felt troubled. Dikeh said the team prayed for the student and declared that the “demonic attack was broken” through the prayer session.
The actress also revealed that many students participated in the outreach, with several reportedly giving their lives to Christ during the programme.
Dikeh, who has recently embraced a stronger faith-based identity and now prefers to be called an evangelist rather than “King Tonto,” described the incident as part of the spiritual mission she believes God has given her.
