In a remarkable demonstration of unity, compassion, and selfless leadership, His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Muh’Bashir Abisoye Alamu Odesanya-OLOTO, The Prescribed Authority of Otto Kingdom and Paramount Ruler of Mainland, Lagos, Nigeria graciously distributed food items to both Christian and Muslim faithful in commemoration of the sacred seasons of Ramadan and Lent.
Understanding the spiritual significance of these holy periods—Ramadan for Muslims and Lent for Christians—His Royal Majesty deemed it necessary to support families within the community, ensuring that the seasons of fasting, prayer, and reflection are also marked with love, generosity, and shared humanity.
The food items were thoughtfully packaged and coordinated under the supervision of Her Royal Majesty, Olori Oluwatoyin Tolanikawo Odesanya-OLOTO, whose dedication and commitment ensured a smooth and dignified distribution process. Her Royal Majesty’s hands-on involvement reflects the palace’s continued commitment to welfare, inclusiveness, and community development.
This noble gesture further reinforces the throne’s longstanding tradition of religious harmony, peaceful coexistence, and compassion for all subjects, irrespective of faith or background. It is a clear testament that the palace remains a pillar of support and unity, especially during spiritually significant moments.
