The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted a combination of sunshine and cloudiness across the country for three days starting from Monday, according to its latest weather outlook.
NiMet said most parts of the northern region will experience sunny to partly cloudy skies throughout the period. In the central and southern regions, the agency expects sunshine with intervals of cloud cover, with the possibility of isolated thunderstorms and light rainfall, especially in some coastal states.
The agency noted that while weather conditions are expected to remain largely fair, residents in parts of the southern states should be alert to brief showers, particularly in the afternoons and evenings.
NiMet advised the public, motorists and aviation operators to stay updated with daily forecasts, as weather conditions may vary slightly across locations.
