The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has warned Nigerians to ignore a fake recruitment notice currently making the rounds on social media.
In a statement issued by the agency, NAFDAC clarified that it did not authorise or release any recruitment advertisement as being shared online. The agency described the notice as false and misleading, noting that it was designed by fraudsters to deceive unsuspecting job seekers.
NAFDAC cautioned members of the public against paying money or submitting personal details to individuals or platforms claiming to represent the agency. It stressed that NAFDAC does not charge any fee for recruitment and that all genuine employment announcements are made only through its official website and verified communication channels.
The agency urged Nigerians to always verify recruitment information before sharing and advised job seekers to remain vigilant to avoid falling victim to scams.
