World-renowned
Italian designer Giorgio Armani has passed away at the age of 91, his company
announced on Thursday.

creator, founder, and tireless driving force: Giorgio Armani.”
Armani, often
called “Re Giorgio” (King Giorgio), was the face of modern Italian elegance.
Beyond his minimalist yet powerful designs, he built a fashion empire worth
over €2.3 billion, carefully overseeing everything from runway looks to
advertising campaigns.
According to
France 24, The designer, who had been unwell for some time, missed Milan’s
Men’s Fashion Week in June — the first time in his career he had ever skipped a
show.
Known for his
sharp suits, timeless pieces, and perfectionist eye, Armani influenced
generations and became a global symbol of style.
A funeral
chamber will be set up in Milan this weekend, while a private funeral will
follow at a later date.
